Our Bad Bunny®️ Skull stud earrings are hand carved first in wax by Emma in our Melbourne workshop then individually cast into solid sterling using ancient lost wax casting techniques, oxidised using organic materials, then polished to perfection by hand.

Each Heart of Bone Bad Bunny®️ Skull stud earring is hand stamped with our house hallmark and a traditional 925 sterling silver stamp.

Skulls represent life, death, impermanence, defiance, transformation, rebellion against social norms, strength, warrior traditions, immortality and the human experience. They are also a great reminder or memento mori - an object kept as a reminder of the invisibility of death, such as a skull. The origin of the Latin term Memento Mori literally means- 'remember (that you have) to die.'
